Kabras name South African import Rosco Syster in squad for MMUST date

Kabras RFC have named former Tygerberg player Rosco Syster in their squad that will face MMUST Rugby Club in the Lurambi derby on Saturday at MMUST Grounds.

Syster who can play at fly-half, wing or fullback linked up with Kabras early in the week from South Africa having completed a move in the just concluded window. He will join his fellow countryman Ntabeni Dukisa. Syster is set for his debut off the bench alongside Humphrey Asirikwa.

Captain Dan Sikuta earns his first start of the season and will lead the side out for the first time this season. He will have youngster John Baraka and George Nyambua as his partners in the back row.

Brian Juma and Shem Angugo are in the second row and the squad will have Ephraim Oduor,Teddy Akala and Asuman Mugerwa as the front rowers.

Barry Robinson will start at scrum-half with Brian Tanga scheduled to start at fly-half. Walter OKoth and Felix Ayange will form the midfield partnerhip. The back three has Alfred Orege, Paul Abuto and William Opaka.

Eugene Sifuna, Geoffrey Messo, Dan Angwech are part of the bench. This will be Kabras first match of the year after their clash against Nondies was postponed.

The last outing between Kabras and MMUST ended 56-0 in the Sugarmen’s favour.
