Menengai Oilers change one for Impala date, Kenya Simbas back set for debut

Menengai Oilers have made one change to the starting squad that will battle with Impala Saracens in the Kenya Cup encounter set for Impala Club at 1:00 PM.

Kenya Simbas centre John Okoth who joined the club from town rivals Nakuru is set for a cameo debut having been named on the bench.

The only change in the starting squad sees Brian Ndirangu drop to the bench while Nickson Ochieng has been named in the starting squad.

Ochieng joins the back row that has Tyson Maina and last weekend’s hat-trick hero Chrispin Shitundo. The tight five consists of locks Wallace Onyango -making his second straight start after making a move from Homeboyz and Clinton Odhiambo.

Emmanuel Mulla, Edward Mwaura and Hillary Malweyi lead the pack at the front row. The backline has Geoffrey Ominde and Tony Oketch starting at nine and 10, Steve Ochieng and Dennis Abukuse in the midfield, Beldad Ogeta, Timothy Okwemba and Davis Nyaudi form the back three.

Oilers will be keen to pick the first win over Impala Saracens in the top tier.
