Kenya Simbas star Jone Kubu named Stellenbosch Player of the Tournament

Kenya Simbas fly-half Jone Kubu has been named the Stellennosch Player of the tournament after the conclusion of the tournament.

The Kabras utility back was on fine form in the tournament and scored 19 points as Kenya Simbas beat Brazil to claim bronze. He had nine points in the win against Namibia and was involved in all the tries that the Simbas scored in the tournament

“Congratulations to @YManu_Boyii who has been named as the #StellenboschChallenge Player of the tournament,” reads a congratulatory message by Simbas.

The Fijian born back has now played in five matches for Paul Odera coached side and has scored 74 points for the side. Namibia won the Stellenbosch Challenge beating Zimbabwe Sables 41-10.
