2021 World 7s Series standings after Vancouver

After winning the opening round of the 2021 World 7s Series, South Africa are top of the standings following a 100% win record which earned victory.

They head to the final tournament of the 2021 campaign seated top with 20 points following their impressive run which earned them a 38-5 victory over Kenya 7s.

Shujaa are second on the log with 18 points after finishing second in the tournament behind South Africa. Great Britain are third with 16 points following a podium finish. Ireland have 14 points from the tournament having finished fourth.

USA close the top five with 12 points while Canada are on 10 points following a sixth-place finish in their home tournament.

Hong Kong with eight points, Spain on six points, Germany on four points, Jamaica on three points, Chile with two points and Mexico on a point to complete the 12 team list.

The team with the most points after the Edmonton 7s next weekend will be crowned Champions. The organizers altered the men’s rounds and points system for 2021 due to the reduced number of teams.

Fiji, New Zealand, Argentina, Australia and France skipped the tournament due to COVID-19 caused complications.
