KCB Rugby back-rower Rocky Aguko has been discharged from the hospital after successful surgery, the club has confirmed.

Aguko suffered a horrible leg injury following a tackle as he rose from the back of the scrum with an eighth man pick in the Kenya Cup final against Kabras RFC held on Saturday 4 April at Nandi Bears Club.

He was stretchered off at the 37th minute and was replaced by Felix Ojoo who helped the side claim the fourth consecutive Kenya Cup title after edging the Kabras 28-25.

The Club confirmed the development via their official social media pages and wished the back-rower, a key member of the squad quick recovery.

“Good News Alert: Rocky “Young Blood” Aguko just had a successful surgery and has been discharged from the hospital. May you experience a fast recovery. Get well soon,” the club announced.

KCB scored 25 points in the second half to send the game to sudden death. In the added minutes, Darwin Mukidza slotted in a penalty that handed them the right Kenya Cup title.
