Kenya Cup holders KCB Rugby have unveiled their squad for the Kenya Cup final against Kabras RFC scheduled for Nandi Bears Club on Saturday 4 September at 2:00 PM.
One change has been made from the squad that won 35-17 against Menengai Oilers last weekend. The change has seen Levy Amunga pave way for Peter Kilonzo. Kilonzo will partner with Kenya 7s Star Vincent Onyala.
The back three has Kenyan Internationals Jacob Ojee, Isaac Njoroge and their leading points scorer Darwin Mukidza. The halfback role has Samuel Asati with Kenya 7s fly-half Johnstone Olindi retaining the number 10 jersey.
Andrew Amonde, Steve Wamai and Rocky Aguko form the back row with Nick Ongeri and Oliver Mang’eni starting as locks.
The front row has Oscar Simiyu, Griffin Musila and Patrick Ouko. The bench consists of Michael Wanjala, Felix Ojoo, Shaban Ahmed, James Ochieng, George Gichure, Nelson Nyandat and Brian Munyali.

KCB Rugby will be featuring in their sixth Kenya Cup final since 2013. In the previous five, they have picked four wins including a three-peat between 2017 to 2019.
All their last four wins have been against Kabras RFC and the last time they failed to win a Kenya Cup final was in 2014. They lost 20-13 to Nakuru, then coached by Habimana who is currently with Kabras.
