Menengai Oilers change one for semi-final date against KCB

Menengai Oilers Head Coach Gibson Weru has named his squad that will play KCB Rugby in a Kenya Cup semi-final slated for KCB Sports Club on Saturday at 2:00 PM.

Only one change has been made to the starting squad that edged Nondies 13-10 last weekend. Francis Atiti comes in for Edward Mwaura who starts on the bench. Dalmus Chituyi and Kelvin Mukoyani will stay in the front row.

The locks will be Clinton Odhiambo and Brian Ndirangu. Tyson Maina, Chrispine Shitundo and Samuel Were complete the forwards’ list in the back row.

The coach has stuck with Amos Onyinkwa and Davis Nyaundi combination at scrum-half and fly-half respectively. Harold Anduvate and Austin Sikutwa will also continue with their midfield partnership.

There is a positional switch in the back three where Derrick Keyoga starts at fullback with Roy Nandwa moving back to the right-wing. Timothy Okwemba will keep his place on the left-wing.

The last time the two sides faced off was on 17 July and the Oilers lost 22-19.
