Kenya Cup week 11 will have only one fixture take place and not three as earlier confirmed by the organizers.
The doubleheader which was slated for Impala Club with Impala Saracens set to take on Strathmore Leos in the early kick-off and the late kick-off clash between Mwamba Rugby Club and Nondies has been postponed to a later date.
Kenya Cup has confirmed that the clash between Kenya Cup titleholders KCB Rugby and former Champions Nakuru RFC will continue as planned.
“There is one fixture on the cards as the Kenya Cup continues on Saturday 31 July 2021. Defending champions KCB play host to Top Fry Nakuru at the KCB Sports Club at 3.00 pm,” reads a statement by Kenya Cup
“Two other fixtures intended for the Impala Club have been postponed to a later date,” the statement further reads.
KCB will be keen to stretch their lead on top of the table as they face Nakuru who are winless since matchday two. Impala, Strathmore, Mwamba and Nondies will join the other five teams that will take a break this weekend. The five include Kabras RFC, Kenya Harlequins, Blak Blad Rugby, Menengai Oilers, and MMUST Rugby Club.
