Uganda Cranes drop 10 places on World Rankings

Uganda Cranes have dropped 10 places on the latest World Rankings.

The Cranes have dropped from position 41 to 51 after suffering a 22-16 loss to Algeria in the final pool C clash played on Sunday at Kyadondo. Brian Makalama charges have 45.85 points.

Algeria have gone two places up from 92 to 90 with 31.25 points while Ghana have climbed to position 85 from 87.

Zimbabwe Sables have stayed at position 34, the picked a 101-3 win against Burkina Faso on Sunday.

Changes in the top 30 have seen France rise from sixth to fifth, while Australia have dropped to sixth. Argentina have also moved from ninth to seventh swapping places with Wales.

In the Women’s Rankings, a 2.89 rating points gained over the course of the week has resulted in a climb of eight places in the World Rugby Women’s Rankings for Uganda who equal their previous best position of 31st.

Zimbabwe have gone in the other direction, down to 46th, which is their joint-lowest position.
