Uganda Cranes change five for Algeria clash

Uganda Cranes Head Coach Brian Makalama has made five changes to the starting squad that will tackle Algeria in the final Pool C clash set for Kyadondo on Saturday.

After making his debut off the bench last weekend, Kenya Harlequins flanker Mark Omoding makes his first start on the left flank replacing Kelvin Balagade. Byron Oketayot and Desire Ayera will stay in the back row. Robert Aziku and Eliphaz Emong have started as locks once again.

In the front row, former Captain Asuman Mugerwa starts in the place of Santos Senteza. Three changes have been made in the backline with Aaron Ofoywroth coming in for Paul Opilo and he will partner with fly-half Ivan Magomu.

Maxwell Ebonga takes up the left-wing role as Daudi Semwami shifts to the right side. Solomon Okia has been named in the midfield while Justin Kimono is absent.

Joaquim Chissano is set for his debut off the bench. Uganda are eyeing the second win of the campaign which will see them top Pool C.
