Menengai Oilers have made five changes to their starting squad that will face Mwamba in a Kenya Cup clash at Impala Club on Saturday 10 July.
Tony Oketch gets the first senior team start at fly-half. Oketch who has risen from the junior ranks takes the slot which was held by Abutali Wesonga last weekend. There is a change at scrum-half with Andrew Odero returning to the first 15 while Geoffrey Ominde starts on the bench.
Dennis Abukuse starts in the place of Mark Kwemoi at the inside centre and Austin Sikutwa keeps his place at the outside centre. The outside backs include Beldad Ogeta, Derrick Mbaire and Davis Nyaundi.
Edward Mwaura maintains his slot at loosehead prop with Emmanuel Mulindo and Ian Omoke joining him in the front row. Kelvin Mukoyani and Rashid Shimoka are on the bench.
The second row has Clinton Odhiambo and Brian Ndirangu starting together once again. The back row has Nick Ochieng, skipper Chrispine Shitundo and Samuel Were.
Oilers are hoping to return to winning to ways after last weekend’s 21-17 loss to Impala Saracens. Gibson Weru charges are second on the Kenya Cup standings with 16 points.
