Kabras include Edwin Achayo in squad to play Blak Blad

Kabras have revealed their squad will be in action on Saturday in a rescheduled Kenya Cup clash against Blak Blad set for RFUEA Grounds on Saturday 3:00 PM.

Nine first-team players Dan Sikuta, Jone Kubu, Brian Juma, George Nyambua, Bryceson Agesa, Brian Tanga, Ephraim Odour, Barry Robinson and Eugene Sifuna are absent having been included in the Kenya Simbas’ Africa Cup squad.

With first and second choice scrum-halves Tanga and Barry absent, Edwin Achayo has been included in the matchday squad as a reserve scrum-half. Achayo who is part of the team’s technical bench last played for Kabras in their 29-24 Kenya Cp final loss to KCB on 27 March 2018.

Dan Angwech starts at number nine with Ntabeni Dukisa keeping his position at fly-half. Timoci Senaite and Walter Okoth are set to run in the midfield as Alfred Orege, Bede Enonda start on the wings. Felix Ayange at fullback and will captain the side in the absence of Sikuta.

Jeanson Misoga, Kevin Wekesa continue to enjoy play-time in the back-row and are joined by Thomas Simiyu. Hillary Odhiambo and Mitch Jaoko are in the second row and the front row has Joseph Odero, Teddy Akala and Hillary Mwanjilwa.

Kabras will be keen to close the nine-point gap between them and league leaders KCB. The Sugarmen will be playing for their first Kenya Cup since March 2021.
