Senegal won Rugby Africa Cup Pool B after winning all their matches played between 3 and 7 July 2021 in Nairobi.
The Lions are through to the quarters of the competition after amassing eight points out of the possible 10 points. Senegal edged Kenya Simbas 20-19 with their late win earning them four points.
The side then beat Zambia on Wednesday 20-5, scoring two converted tries and two penalties for another four points. Senegal scored a total of 40 points and conceded 24 in the competition. The Senegalese will face Pool C runners up in 2022.
Kenya Simbas head to the weekend’s crunch clash with just a point having picked it during their narrow loss to Senegal. They have scored 19 points and conceded 20.
Simbas will need to win the clash against Zambia to finish second and qualify Rugby Africa Cup Quarters.
The Zambians have no points having lost to Senegal 20-5, they still have a chance to qualify for the quarters if they beat Kenya Simbas.
