Jinja Hippos bounced back to winning ways following a 20-10 victory over Warriors in a rescheduled fixture played on Friday afternoon.
Hippos landed two converted tries and two penalties to condemn Warriors to the fourth straight loss of the season. Maxwell Ebonga scored two penalties for his side to lead 6-0 at halftime.
Ebonga was there to convert the first try of the match which came in the second half after fly-half John Echeru set up Jacob Ochen for a try.
Warriors would then score a penalty before Tawfik Bagalana scored Hippos second try which Ebonga converted for a 20-3 lead.
Ochen and James Okello’s yellow cards saw Warriors capitalize on a two-man advantage to score a converted try but Hippos managed to hold on to the 10-point lead to win the match.
Failure to pick five points means Hippos will stay the fourth with 15 points while winless Warriors stay bottom with no points.
