Oliech’s injury is a setback to the Impala Saracens player, who was in line to make his first appearance of 2021 for the team having missed the Madrid 7s in February.
The eight-team men’s tournament has been divided into two pools namely Red and Blue. Kenya will be in Pool Blue alongside Spain, Chile, and France. Argentina who won the Madrid 7s in February will be in pool Red which has Japan Canada and Uganda.
Kenya will kick off their campaign with a clash against Chile before facing France in the second match of the day. The final match of day one will see Kenya play against Spain.
