Ugandan youngster starts for Strathmore ahead of Nondies date

Strathmore Leos head coach Louis Kisia has made five changes to his starting squad ahead of the third match of the season against Nondies which will be staged at RFUEA Grounds at 1:PM.

George Ooro and John Aswani drop to the bench while Arnold Omollo, Arnold Muita and Matoka Matoka who started in their loss to Kabras are not part of this weekend’s squad.  The coach has made several positional switches in both the pack and backline.

Brunson Madigu moves to fullback with Ugandan youngster and former Laiser Hill playmaker Daniel Kisyakamukama starting at fly-half. Lucas Opal who was at fullback last weekend will start at scrum-half.

Matoka’s place on the right-wing is taken up by Alex Maina and Cecil Otieno stays on the left-wing. Wiseman Aganya and Richard Omedo will continue with their midfield partnership.

In the pack, Trevor Opondo moves from the flank to hooker as Rodney Ambale shifts to tighthead prop. Captain Gabriel Adero keeps his slot at loosehead. Fanuel Aduda and Silas Aziz are in the second row and Bethuel Muteshi, Philemon Olang and Barnabas Owuor will form the back row.

The students will be eyeing the first win of the season as they face a Nondies side which will be in action for the first time since 2020.
