Kenya 7s star Oscar Dennis was hit by an unknown motorist while riding his bike on Tuesday evening, Kenya Rugby Union has revealed.
The playmaker suffered a broken leg and was rushed to the hospital for treatment after the accident.
“We would like to confirm that Kenya sevens player Oscar Dennis15 sustained leg injuries after being hit by an unidentified motorist while riding his bike in Nairobi on Tuesday evening. He is undergoing treatment and we wish him a speedy and full recovery,” the statement revealed.

The back was part of the 29 players who had been called up for the Kenya 7s medical and physical assessment ahead of the preparations for the upcoming season.

Dennis was part of the SX10 squad that won the Inaugural World 10s Series played in Bermuda. He scored two tries in the campaign.
Oscar has played 20 matches for Kenya 7s in the World 7s Series scoring 20 points. He won the Africa Men’s 7s with Kenya 7s in 2019.
