SX10 will tackle Ohio Aviators in the final of the World 10s Series Cup after defeating Phoenix 12-0 in the second semi-final staged at Bermuda National Stadium.
This will be a repeat the round two clash which saw Ohio Aviators beat SX10 14-12.
Phoenix had earlier upset Rhinos and were looking pull win against SX10. They would dominate possession in the opening five minutes before it shifted hands.
Willy Ambaka on the right-wing put Craig Hunt through and the latter paced on and dive over for the opener which was converted for 7-0 at halftime.
In the last stanza, Phoenix put pressure on SX10 but managed to break away following a continuity play and it was Oscar Ouma who scored the scored try for the SX1O. The two tries were enough to send the side to the first-ever finals of the World 10s Series Cup.
To reach the finals, Ohio Aviators outwitted World 10 Series League winners London Royals 12-7 in the first semi-final.
Aviators scored two tries and converted one in the opening half to take a 12-0 lead to the break. The second half was tight with London Royals efforts being frustrated by Aviators defence.
With three minutes to play, the ball was shifted to the left and Dan Norton bagged a converted try that saw Royals cut the gap to five points.
Their chase for the winning try was cut short by a forward pass and a late penalty against them which saw Aviators win back the ball and hold on to win the clash.
