Exeter Chiefs pipped Wasps 19-13 at Twickenham to bag their second Premiership title and complete domestic and European cup double.
It was a repeat of the 2017 final clash which Exeter also won. Joe Simmonds kicked in 14 points in the clash to hand his another silverware which comes seven days after winning the European Champions Cup.
Jimmy Gopperth got the first points in the opening 13 minutes for Wasps before Henry Slade made a 25-metre sprint to score the first try of the match for Exeter. Simmonds conversion ensured the side lead 7-3.
Wasps responded with Jacob Umaga also racing 25 metres for a solo effort try after being set by Dan Robson off a ruck. Gopperth converted for a three-point lead at the 30th minute. Their lead lasted for six minutes before Simmonds levelled the scores before booting the side back into at the 40th-minute for 13-10 lead at halftime.
In the final half, Gopperth scored a levelling penalty at the 59th minute. Simmonds handed his side the title after scoring at 66th and 80th minute.
