Ugandan International Philip Wokorach had his second start for AS Bédarrides-Châteauneuf du Pape as they edged Federal I Leaders Stade Metropolitan 29-28 in a match staged on Saturday.
The talisman was handed a start in the fullback role shifting from the midfield where he had his full debut on matchday two. Bertrand Lombarteix who was playing at scrum-half scored 19 points for the side in the win.
Outside centre Timothee Matanavou landed the opening try for ASBC at 26th minute before Lombarteix crossed over and converted his own try at the 30th minute. The points saw the side head to the break trailing 13-12.

In the last stanza, Lombarteix added three points at the 51st minute while flanker Benjamin Braille added a try that Lombarteix converted. The scrum-half was back on the scoresheet with a converted try that saw the side win the clash.
The win leaves ASBC unbeaten in Federal 1 after three matches in the league. ASBC now have 13 points having picked one bonus point in the three wins.
They are fourth on the log with three points separating them and leaders, Stade Metropolitan. ASBC will tackle eighth placed US Issoirienne on matchday four.
