2019/20 season saw Homeboyz finish third in the regular season with 66 points after 13 wins, a draw and two losses.
The Deejays had also qualified for the Enterprise Cup semis before the season was suspended. Their second-string side Homeboyz II finished fourth with 54 points and booked slot in the Mwamba Cup semis.
According to statistics released by the club in their latest magazine publication, Bob Muhati was their top try scorer, scoring 10 tries in the campaign. Kenya Simbas star Joshua Chisanga came second having landed eight tries in the campaign.
Playmaker Mohammed Omollo, Leonard Mugaisi and Stanley Isogol crossed the whitewash six times in the regular season. Winger Collins Shikoli had four tries while Ugandan import Eliphaz Emong, Charles Omondi, Max Kang’eri and Michael Wanjala had three tries in the 2019/20 season.
Ervin Asena, Augustine Lugonzo, Aaron Kelechi, Abel Matanda, Jan Remke scored twice each. Asena was the club’s top points scorer having scored 27 conversions, 16 penalties and one drop goal. Omollo managed 15 conversions and three penalties to add to his six tries.
In the Eric Shirley Shield, Brunson Madigu scored 14 tries. He was followed by Amon Wamalwa and Kelvin Agwambo who had seven tries each.
