Kabras team news ahead of Kisumu match

Kabras Head Coach Henly Du Plessis has revealed his team news ahead of the Kenya Cup clash against struggling-Kisumu RFC scheduled for Mamboleo Grounds in Kisumu County.

The South African tactician has opted to go with the side that beat Kenya Harlequins last weekend, meaning Charlton Mokua, Lawrence Buyachi and Alfred Orege will be making the 12th straight start in this campaign. Orege will run on the left-wing as Paul Abuto plays on the right side.

Kenya Cup leading points scorer Jone Kubu continues to enjoy playtime at fullback while Habil Malika earns the third straight start in 2020.  Felix Ayange is set for another appearance in the midfield in the absence of the club’s top try-scorer Timoci Senaite.

Brain Tanga and Ntabeni Dukisa are at scrum-half and fly-half respectively. Buyachi at number eight is joined by flankers Mokua and George Nyambua.

Brian Juma and Hillary Odhiambo are the locks and while the front row has Ephraim Oduor, Eugene Sifuna and Asuman Mugerwa.

Kabras won the first leg encounter 89-0 and will be targeting a double in this clash.
