Former Kenya Cup side Strathmore seem to be enjoying the stay in the second tier and have extended their winning streak to 11 matches in a row in the competition
The Madaraka based side has picked 53 points out of the possible 55 in the 11 wins. Scoring has been their strength as they have already hit 381 points and have let in 97 points. Only MMUST have conceded less than them in the tier.
MMUST have also kept their direct semi-final dream alive after picking the 1oth win of the season which has put them 10 points above third-placed Mean Machine. MMUST have only five bonus points while they have scored 258 and conceded 90 points in the tier.
Machine have a game in hand, with seven wins and seven bonus points from 10 games they are third on the log with 35 points. There is also a 10-point gap separating them and fourth-placed Northern Suburbs who have 25 points after five wins in 11 matches.
USIU have 23 points at the position five with a game in hand. Egerton Wasps are tied on level points with South Coast Pirates but a superior goal difference puts the latter in the top six.
UoE Trojans have amassed 20 points while Eldoret have 18 points. Catholic Monks have dropped three points above the danger zone while Mombasa and Kisii are still in the danger zone with 14 and four points respectively.
