Kenya 7s have received a major boost as long term absentees Oscar Ouma and Sammy Oliech have resumed training.
The two have been joined by Dennis Ombachi who was part of the opening matches of the 2018/19 season.
Ouma last played for Kenya 7s before the 2018 World Cup while Oliech ended the 2017/18 season with the side, joined Kenya Simbas for the Repechage but was not part of the 2018/19 campaign which saw the side avoid relegation in the last leg of the World 7s Series.
The trio link-up with the final squad which was named ahead of 2019/20 season in preparing for the Hamilton and Sydney 7s. They will be hoping to impress Paul Feeney who has on several occasions said he needed all the senior players to return.
The team is set to have a four-day camp in Nakuru starting 12 to 15 January as they intensify preparation for the third and fourth round of World 7s Series.
According to Kenya Rugby Union, the session in Nakuru are to help the team fine-tune their game plan ahead of the Hamilton and Sydney 7s. The team is set to have three sessions per day.
