Holders KCB get better of Nondies to end on a high

Kenya Cup holders KCB ended the year on high after defeating Nondies 38-12 in a clash played at Jamhuri Park on Saturday.

The Champions end the year with 39 points after eight-win in nine matches while Nondies have two wins. KCB went to break trailing after 12-10, it was after Thomas Ochieng drilled in four penalties for Nondies 12 points. For KCB, Levy Amunga earned them five points after drilling in a penalty and converting Mike Kimwele’s try.

In the final half, they scored 28 points unanswered points. Tony Onyango landed KCB’s second try for a 15-12 lead in the clash.

Amunga and Darwin Mukidza then added a penalty each before Shaban Ahmed then came off the bench and crossed over for the third try but their conversion attempt went wide.

Another substitute Peter Kilonzo got on the scoresheet to send scores into the ’30s after a conversion. Kimwele landed his brace for a 38-12 win.
