Kenya 7s Technical Director Paul Feeney expects speedster Collins Injera to be fit for action ahead of the World 7s Series opening round which scheduled for early December.
The opening round -Dubai 7s is 32 days away and Injera is currently undergoing rehabilitation having picked a shoulder injury at the Safari 7s tournament held at RFUEA Grounds on 19 and 20 October.
The injury has seen the experienced star miss out on Kenya 7s final list for the Africa Olympic Qualifiers set for South Africa.
“Collins Injera is still undergoing rehab after he sustained an injury during the Safari 7s. We are expecting to have him back playing when the team heads out for the Dubai 7s,” Feeney is quoted by KRU’s official portal.

Kenya 7s will be keen to impress in the Olympics Qualifiers where they are scheduled to kick off their campaign against Cote d’Ivoire in the first round.
At the Dubai 7s, they have been pooled alongside South Africa, England and Spain.
