Fiji goes for experienced coaching staff ahead of World Cup

Fiji 15s head coach John McKee has picked an experienced coaching staff to lead Fiji through Pacific Test Series, Pacific Nations Cup and the Rugby World Cup set for Japan later this year.

The coaching staff has an inclusion of various experienced expertise in the different coaching categories, the 2015 Fiji assistant coach Tabai Matson who is currently a super Rugby assistant coach with the chiefs together with Neil Barnes and Allan Muir will be responsible for the on field coaching.

Muir is well known to the players as he has been involved in most cases training the team’s forwards in the scrummaging.

Damian Marsh has been named as the head of Athletic Performance while John Pryor will be in-charge of the players conditions as he is the head of strength and conditioning.

According to Mckee this coaching staff is experienced in RWC and he believes they will take the Fijians forward and ensure the team is the most prepared team heading to RWC
