Super Rugby side Bulls has been left sweating ahead of the clash against Lions as they suffered two major injuries in clash against Highlanders.
Both Schalk Britz and Marco van Staden walked out of the pitch after suffering concussions in Dunedin last weekend as they drew 24-24 with Highlanders.
The squad has, however, welcome several players back to training with Rosko Speckman, Warrick Gelant and Jesse Kriel return after suffering hamstring injuries and an ankle injury respectively.
Duane Vermeulen will also be available after two games rest while Marnitz Boshoff success in the last two Super Rugby matches has seen him completely off the knee injury.
Paul Shoeman and Lood de Jager however still suffer from the hamstring and shoulder injury.
Bulls are set to meet Lions in the round 18 this weekend and they are ranked second according to the South African conference and fifth overall.
