Kenya Simbas provisional squad named ahead of 2019 International duty

Kenya Simbas technical team has selected 44 players to represent the Country in the upcoming National duties.

This is after the bench led by new head coach Paul Odera held a trial session at RFUEA grounds to select the squad.

Some of the new faces in the team include Oilers Beldad Ogeta, Blak Blad’s Achadius Khwesa, KCB’s Griffin Musila, Isaac Njoroge, George Maranga, Michael Kimwele, Geoffrey Okwach, Vincent Onyala, Samuel Asati.

Players who played last season and have maintained their slots include Peter Kilonzo, Patrick Ouko, Ephraim Oduor, Collins Injera, Oscar Sorano, Samson Onsomu,and Oliver Mang’eni.

Their first assigment will the Elgon Cup tournament taking place on the 22nd June in Kisumu and the return leg on 13th July in Kampala, Uganda.

The team will kick off their training on Wednesday 5th June at the RFUEA Grounds with a skills and conditioning session. They will then have sessions every Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings leading up to the 22nd of June.
