Homeboyz ace links up with Kenya 7s in Paris

Kenya Rugby Union have confirmed that Homeboyz halfback Michael Wanjala has joined the Kenya 7s camp in France together with Kenya Harlequins forward Herman Humwa.

Eden Agero did not travel with the side to London despite being named in the squad two weeks ago. He is expected to link up with side this weekend too.

The two will fill the gaps left by Dan Sikuta and Daniel Taabu. Sikuta was injured on day one and he sat out as Kenya struggled on day two which saw them suffer defeats to Scotland and Japan. Taabu missed the France and Japan matches.

“Michael Wanjala and Herman Humwa have linked up with Shujaa in France ahead of the #Paris7s tournament this weekend. They replace injured Daniel Sikuta and Daniel Taabu,” reads a statement by KRU.

Kenya 7s will face off with Australia, Wales and South Africa in Pool Matches of the final leg of the World 7s Series.
