Kenya 7s call in two stars ahead of the crucial Paris assignment

Kenya 7s head Paul Murunga has called in Kenya Harlequins forward Herman Humwa and fly-half Eden Agero for the Paris 7s, Nation Sport reports.

The two are in to replace Daniel Taabu and Dan Sikuta who picked up injuries at the London 7s.

Sikuta was injured on day one and he sat out as Kenya struggle on day two which saw them suffer defeats to Scotland and Japan. Taabu missed the France and Japan matches.

Kenya will be hoping that the two experienced players will boost the squad as they seek to avoid the chop.

Shujaa have amassed 27 points this season, they are two points above Japan and three points behind Wales.

Kenya 7s have been drawn alongside Paris 7s defending Champions South Africa, Australia and Wales.

Shujaa will kick off their campaign on Saturday at 1:06 PM with a clash against Australia.

Their second match will be at 4:10 PM and they will be up against Paris 7s title holders South Africa.  Shujaa’s final match will be at 7:36 PM where they will tackle Wales.
