Western Bulls unleash squad for Championship final

With a Kenya Cup slot already secured, Western Bulls will now have a shot at the KRU Championship title as they face Kisumu RFC in the finals set for the Kakamega Showground on Saturday at 18 May.

Head coach Bram Shikanda has released his 24-man squad that will be in action. The front two duties will be held by Elvis Wekesa, Bretty Kamadi and Joseph Obiero.

In the second row, the coach has Gilbert Onindo partnering with Derrick Makatiani. Robert Awich, Teddy Akala and Andrew Odhiambo complete the forward’s lists.

At halfback, the coach has deployed Jevon Okoth who will play alongside Isaac Wafula.Lukase Dennis and Ashiundu Derrick are in the midfield.

The back three consists of Frank Mukaisi, Mutaly Kevin and Henry Odhiambo.

Western Bulls will be keen to extend their better record against Kisumu which has seen them lose just one of the last four meetings.

The side will be facing their former coach Howard Okwemba.
