KCB name squad for the Kenya Cup finals clash against Kabras

Kenya Cup defending Champions KCB have released their squad that will play against Kabras in the Kenya Cup finals set for Kakamega Showground on Saturday 18 May at 3:45 PM.

After bagging a brace in the semis against Kenya Harlequins, Isaac Njoroge has been entrusted with fullback duties once again. Kenyan International Tony Onyango will take care of the right wing as Kenya 7s skipper Jacob Ojee plays on the on the left side.

Brian Omondi and Peter Kilonzo have been deployed in midfield. Kenya Under 20 Halfback Samuel Asati starts ahead of experienced Michael Wanjala at scrum-half and he will play alongside Ken Moseti who starts at fly-half.

The forwards are also unchanged, Davis Chenge who was pulled off during their win over Quins is available in the squad and he starts at number eight while Peter Waitere is on the open flank. Kenya 7s star Andrew Amonde is on the blind flank.

The second row has Oliver Mang’eni and Francis Mwita while Oscar Sorano, Peter Karia, and Curtis Lilako lead the front row.

The Bankers are chasing the third straight Kenya Cup title and will be banking on their better record against Kabras as they face off on Saturday.
