The Kenya Cup final clash pitting Kabras and KCB set for Kakamega Showground on Saturday 18 May will be officiated by Moses Ndung’u.
The Kenya Rugby Referees Association have appointed Costant Cap -who was in charge of the semi-final clash between Kabras and Mwamba last weekend and Godwin Karuga as his Assistant Referees.
“The Kenya Rugby Referees Association have appointed the experienced Moses Ndung’u to take charge of the final. His first stint at a final was last year during the Impala Floodlit Tournament. This past weekend he was the center referee in the semifinal clash between KCB and Kenya Harlequins. Moses will have Constant Cap and Godwin Karuga as his Assistant Referees, Reads a statement by KRU.
This will be the third time in a row that KCB and Kabras will be facing off in the finals. Kabras made it the finals after beating Mwamba 23-11 at the Kakamega Showground last weekend.
KCB who are in search of the third straight Kenya Cup made it finals after beating Kenya Harlequins 46-13 in a semifinal match staged at KCB Sports Club Ruaraka.
It will be first time in Kenya Cup history that the finals will be hosted in Kakamega County.
