KCB with two changes ahead of Kenya Cup semi against Quins

KCB head coach Curtis Olago has made two changes to his squad ahead of the Kenya Cup semi-final clash against Kenya Harlequins.

Michael Wanjala, Vincent Onyala have been benched. Their absence in the starting squad sees Samuel Asati and Isaac Njoroge get a chance to start.   Njoroge will start at fullback while Tony Onyango has shifted on the right wing. Kenya 7s skipper Jacob Ojee will be on the left side.

Brian Omondi and Peter Kilonzo have been deployed in midfield just like last weekend. Asati comes in at scrum-half and he will play alongside Ken Moseti who starts at fly-half.

The forwards remain unchanged, however, Davis Chenge starts at number eight while Peter Waitere is on the open flank. Kenya 7s star Andrew Amonde is on the blind flank. The second row has Oliver Mang’eni and Francis Mwita while Oscar Sorano, Peter Karia, and Curtis Lilako lead the front row.

KCB have eliminated Quins from the Kenya Cup semis twice ( 19-12 on 8 April 2017 and 24-8  in 2013). They  will be eyeing the seventh straight win over Quins.
