Impala drive KCB out of Enterprise Cup to join Kabras in finals

Impala Saracens will play in the Enterprise Cup finals for the second season in a row after eliminating KCB with narrow 11-10 win in the semis staged at Impala Club on Saturday.

Quinto Oongo gave his side a three-point lead while KCB responded via try by skipper Curtis Lilako after a maul.  Jacob Ojee added the extras from a conversion attempt. Ojee then added three more points after a penalty and they would take a seven-point lead.

The hosts Impala fought back strongly to score a try through Billy Omondi but Oongo missed his conversion attempt. The two headed to break with KCB leading by two points.

A tight second half was witnessed, with both kickers missing glorious opportunities from the tee. After Oongo struggling on several occasions, Anthony Odhiambo was handed the duties and he would drill in a long-range penalty to send his side back to the finals.

Impala who lost to Homeboyz 21-3 in the finals in 2018 will now tackle Kabras RFC who eliminated Quins after a 54-11 beating.
