New Zealand handed Kenya a 36-0 beating in a Pool C match played at Hong Kong 7s on Saturday morning.
Shujaa had beaten New Zealand once in the last five matches. Paul Murunga charges were seeking to register the first win over the All Blacks since April 2018. The team also needed a win to snap up a seven-match losing streak in the series as they last won a match at the USA 7s where they beat Japan in March.

New Zealand were able to retain possession from the kick-off and Joe Ravouvou proved to be unstoppable as his hard run on the left wing saw him force the way to the try line for a five 5-0 lead.
The 28-year-Old once again forced his way to the try line and his try was converted to send the All Blacks 7s team to a 12-0 lead.
On return from the break, Kenya enjoyed a bit of possession, had a beautiful play going forward but Daniel Taabu was stopped five metres to the try-line. New Zealand won the ball back after a line out and they would interchange the passes before Regan Ware completed the move by scoring the third.
Laxity during kickoffs saw New Zealand kick easily win the back and deny Kenya possession. The side would exploit the area to score through Ware and Joe Webber.
Scott Curry added the six as the side handed Kenya the eighth straight defeat in the series this season,
