Acting Homeboyz coach Jasen Hector said there were a lot of individual positive performances from his team despite his team losing the game 26-24 to Oilers.
The teams went into the break tied at 10-10, but Oilers would come fired up in the second half to take a 26-10 lead. The deejays would then try to rally back in vain.
The deejays had lost to Mwamba, Harlequins heading into the match.
“We made a lot of mistakes. We conceded close to 12 penalties. missed tackles and we didn’t do the basics right and if you don’t do the basics right then you don’t stand a chance.” Hector said after the match.
Despite the loss, the acting coach said he had positives to take from individual performances.
“The players showed character towards the end and their was a lot of positives to look at from an individual perspective.”
Homeboyz will face KCB on the final day as they look to snap the recent losing streak.
