Kenya Lioness Head Coach Kevin Wambua has revealed his squad that will take part in the World 7s Series qualifiers tournament set for Hong Kong 4th to 5th of April in Hong Kong.
The team has been received a major boost following the return of Janet Owino who returns after a year of absence due to injury. Vivian Akumu from Nakuru RFC is set to make a debut for Kenya.
Philadelphia Olando keeps her place as the captain and she is joined by Sheila Chajira, Cynthia Camilla, Sinaida Aura, Diana Awino, Janet Okello, Grace Adhiambo, Christabel Linda, and Stella Wafula who played in Dubai early in the 201/19 season.
Lionesses are group B and will battle it out with Papua New Guinea, Lady Cranes and host Hong Kong. Pool A has Japan, Belgium, Scotland and Mexico while Pool C consists of Brazil, Argentina, Kazakhstan and Poland.
The last edition saw the ladies bundled out of the competition in sudden death by South Africa in the semi-finals.
