Kenya Cup log ahead of the penultimate stage

The race for the Kenya Cup top spot is still tight, with Kabras and KCB having won their respective matches with a bonus point.

Kabras beat Nakuru 34-17 and moved to 64 points. The Sugarmen’s attacking prowess that has seen them score 584 points puts them above KCB who have also picked 64 but have an inferior goal difference. Both sides have lost one match season and will be eyeing maximum points in the final two matches as they continue to fight for the top spot.

Kenya Harlequins sit third having won nine of the last 14 matches of the league. Charles Cardovillis charges have 49 points. Despite falling to Oilers, Nondies have maintained position four and they have 41 points.

Impala Saracens are back in the top six and they are just a point behind Nondies. The Ngong Road based has eight wins and have lost six this season. Mwamba close the top six slots with 39 points.

Oilers safe

Nakuru’s loss to Kabras has seen them drop to position seven but they are still in contention for a place in playoffs.  Their neighbors Oilers are now safe having collected 27 points.

Homeboyz have also amassed 27 points in the 14 matches but they will miss the playoffs this season,  The race for survival is also tight as the bottom-placed sides are being separated by five points. Blak Blad have 16 points while  Strathmore Leos have 14 points.

Mean Machine are still bottom despite their win over Mean Machine.
