KCB pick Musila, Onyala for Mwamba duel

KCB have revealed their squad that will do duty against Mwamba RFC in a Kenya Cup match set for Jamhruri  Grounds on Saturday.

There are four changes in the squad and Griffin Musila who has been impressive off the bench in the last few games gets his first start in 2019. Musila joins Oscar Simuyu and Curtis Lilako in the front row as Peter Karia drops to the bench. The second row will have Davis Chenge and Oliver Mang’eni.

The back row is unchanged with Brian Nyikuli and Andrew Amonde manning the flanks while Peter Waitere is the eighth man.   Fly-half Billy Isabwa regains his position in the starting squad and he has been paired with Michael Wanjala. Ken Moseti is the player that has paved the way.

Vincent Onyala has been named as the inside centre replacing Brian Omondi. Peter Kilonzo keeps his slot as the outside centre.  The coach Curtis Olago has also made a change at the open wing introducing Michael Kimwele in place of Isaac Njoroge while Tony Onyango and Stafford Abeka have been retained.

Jacob Ojee, Samuel Asati, Moses Amusala are some of the players that are expected to boost the side from the bench. The bankers won 33-13 in the first leg meeting with Mwamba.
