Nakuru hit Bulls as Mwamba stages comeback to reach Enterprise Quarters

Nakuru RFC hit Western Bulls 71-7 at Nakuru Athletic Club to reach the quarterfinals of the Enterprise Cup.

Wanyore scored 11 tries past the Championship League Leaders who fielded more youngsters only managed just one try. By half-time,  the hosts were leading 42-7 having scored six converted tries.

In the final half, Teddy Agutu, Duncan Abuyeka, Geoff Ominde, Teddy Ratemo, and Brian Mayaka added the other tries.

Mwamba RFC are also through after a 33-15 win. They went to the break trailing by 10 points. Mean Machine started off well and their efforts paid off as Alfred Orego dotted the opening try that was converted for a 7-0 lead.

Festus Shiashi added three more points from the tee. Orege made his second visit in Mwamba’s try box and he scored his second for a 15-0 lead.

Mwamba cut the deficit to 10 points after landing an unconverted try. Gregory Ochieng launched Mwamba’s second’s scoring spree and added four more tries to win33-15.
