The postponed Enteprise Cup match pitting Impala Saracens and Strathmore Leos will now be played on 23rd March with the match also serving as Kenya Cup matchday 14 for the sides.
Impala Saracens and Strathmore were scheduled to meet this weekend but the clash was postponed to allow the former to lay their fullback Richard Sidindi to rest.
Sidindi died on Monday 25 February after drowning in swimming pool at the club’s bases and he will be buried on Saturday 09 March in Ugunja.
“The Impala Saracens vs Strathmore Leos match has been postponed to 23rd March and will serve as a double header for both Kenya Cup and Enterprise Cup. The Impala fraternity will be laying Richard Sidindi to rest on the 9th of March,” reads a statement by Kenya Cup.
Impala Saracens will be seeking to start off strongly as they hope to return to the finals.
Last season they made it to the finals but lost to Homeboyz 21-3 in a match staged at RFUEA Grounds.
