KSSSA:Vihiga County 7s & 15s pools announced

Vihiga County games are set to kick off on  Wednesday 6 March with both 7s and 15 games set to take place at Chavakali High School.

In the 15s category, holders Vihiga have been pooled in Group A where they will battle for a slot in the knock-out stages with Nyang’ori Boys, Emusire High School, Hobukana, and Busali Union.

Pool B will see  Mbale Boys take on Ebusoli, Kegoye,  Ekwanda and Kaimosi.

In the shorter version of the game, defending Champions Chavakali and last year’s runners up Vihiga will renew their rivalry as they face off in Pool A. Other sides in the pool include Esalwa, Kaptic, and Esongolo.

Last years semi-finalist Nyangori Boys will have a date with Kivagala, Ematsuli, Ebulonga and Masana high. To win the 7s title last year, Chavakali beat Esalwa 34-0, Kegoye 26-14, Nyangori 24-0 and Ebwali 58-0.

Peter Simwa coached side beat Ebusolili 29-0 in the semis and overpowered Vihiga for a 19-5 win in the finals.

Pool B: Mbale,  Ebusiloli, Ekwanda,  Kaimosi, Kegoye

7s pools 

Pool A: Chavakali, Vihiga, Essong’olo,  Kaptic, Esalwa

Pool B: Nyangori, Kivagala, Ebulonga, Ematsuli,Masana
