After retaining the Las Vegas title with a 27-0 victory over Samoa in the Cup final, USA are back on top of the 2018/19 World Rugby Sevens Series standings.
Mike Friday’s charges who have been in all the finals this season have collected 98 points. They are five points above New Zealand who are placed second with 93 points.
Fiji are placed third on the log with 84 having missed the last two finals while England close the top four slot with 68 points. The top four sides will earn a direct slot to Olympic Games set for Tokyo in 2020.
South Africa are fifth on the Standings with 67 points while Australia are 10 points behind them. Samoa and Argentina are seventh and eighth respectively with 49 and 46 points.
Others in the top 10 include Scotland and Spain with 42 and 38 points each. Number 11 is occupied by Canada 28 while France is 12th. Kenya Comes in at number 13 having collected five points in Las Vegas.
The teams will now head to Vancouver 7s for the sixth leg of the World 7s Series.
