KRU Championship standings ahead of the break

Former Kenya Cup side Western Bulls have kept their place on top of the KRU Championship log, following their 11-9 win their hometown rivals MMUST on Saturday.

From 12 matches played this season, Echulusi have 10 wins, one draw and a loss that puts them on 45 points. They are a point above Monks who picked a bonus point win over South Coast Pirates.

USIU have kept the third spot with 40 points having won their eighth match of the season after a 41-0 win over Egerton. Kisumu with six wins are placed fourth on the log with 33 points.

Mombasa have 26 points after beating Ngong in Nairobi. The final playoff spot has MMUST who lost to Western  Bulls. MMUST and Kisii RFC are tied on 24.

UoE have dropped to eighth after suffering a defeat in Kisumu while Kitale and Egerton Wasps have 19 points each.

The last two slots have Pirates on 17 points and Ngong on 15 points.  The Championship will take a break this weekend with the likes of Western Bulls, Mombasa, Kisumu, and Kisii set to take part in the Enterprise Cup.
