Kenya Cup: Impala maul Blad in round 12

Impala saw off a determined Blak Blad side 38-19 bagging a bonus point on an early kick off at Kenyatta University grounds on 2nd March 2019, despite a tough week after the lost on of their player Richard Sindindi.

Impala hoping to strengthen their run on the playoff positions, run in five tries to Blak Blad’s two tries showing a resilient run from last weekends win over Homeboyz.

Michael ‘Tank’ Otieno coached side trailed in the first half 24-3 before pouncing back in the second half with the visitors crossing over two tries while Blad had two penalties and two quick successive tris by Archideus Chwesa in the dying minutes.

Blad currently tenth on the log, have suffered ninth loss of the season and will be on the weigh to strengthen Kenya Cup stay.
