Championship wrap: Bulls reign supreme over MMUST, USIU, Kisumu win big

Western Bulls completed a double over MMUST by registering a 11-9 win in match played at a packed Bull Ring.

Echulusi won the closely contested first leg meeting  at MMUST Grounds 16-15 and they started off well. Bram Shikanda coached side managed to score the opening try through Derrick Ashiundu.

Their conversion went wide, but they hold on for 5-0 lead till the break. MMUST who were eyeing a revenge cut the gap to two points with a penalty after the breather.

Ashiundu would hit the target twice to put them eight points up. MMUST responded with two penalties but they were not enough.

At Kisumu Polytechnic, Kisumu RFC beat UoE 32-0 while Kisii once again needed penalties to pick a 9-3 win in Kitale.

USIU whipped Egerton 41-0 whereas CUEA beat Pirates 27-17. Mombasa also won at Ngong 29-17.
