KCB unleash squad to tackle Kabras

Kenya Cup holders KCB have unleashed the squad that will be looking to stop leaders Kabras on Saturday at the Impala grounds in a 4 PM kick off.

Curtis Olago is not taking any chances, settling for a strong line up boasting of seasoned forwards in what promises to be a cracker of a match.

Oscar Simiyu, Peter Kaaria and Curtis Lilako will start at the frontrow. Francis Mwita is back in the second row to partner with Oliver Mangeni.

Andrew Amonde has shifted to the left flank pushing veteran Brian Nyikuli to the bench. The open side flank duties have been delegated to former Western Bulls and Kenyan Simbas skipper Davies Chenge.

Peter Waitere starts at number eight. Shaban Ahmed has dropped to the bench meaning Michael Wanjala will start alongside Ken Moseti at halfback.

The midfield duties have been handed to Brian Omondi and Peter Kilonzo while Stafford Abeka, and Kenya Simbas duo Tony Onyango and Darwin Mukidza fill the 14th and 15th position in the squad.

Moses Amusala, Samuel Asati, Isaac Njoroge, Griffin Musila are some of the names on the bench.

KCB have won seven of the last eight encounter with Kabras. The other clash ended in a 15-15 draw.
