Kenya 7s squad for Las Vegas, Vancouver 7s named

Kenya 7s head coach Paul Murunga has named his squad that will take part in the Las Vegas 7s set for 1-3 March at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas and Vancouver 7s slated for 7-8 March.

Impala Saracens and Kenya Simbas ace Edmund Anya will make his Kenya 7s debut while Mwamba’s Michael Agevi who last featured under coach Paul Treu in the 2014/15 season is back in the squad.

Kenya Harlequins forward Herman Humwa has been recalled to the squad ahead alongside  Charles Owino. The four have replaced Harold Anduvate, Mark Wandeto, William Reeve and Eliakim Kichoi.

Kenya have been pooled alongside hosts USA, France and Argentina. Pool A has New Zealand, Spain, Canada and Samoa.

England are in Pool C alongside South Africa, Japan with the last slot being reserved for the invitation team.  Fiji headline Pool D alongside Australia, Wales and Scotland.

Shujaa will kick off their Las Vegas 7s campaign on 2nd March against USA at 3:50am, before facing France at 6:29am. Shujaa will wrap up their day one against Argentina 11:58pm.
